Introduction
Blogs (or Weblogs) are electronic online journals or diaries designed to share information with others. We use it to post non-confidential summaries of the group members’ general behavior and progress during the sessions in the office and the community and to describe how we spent our time.

How we create blog entries
Some of the blog entries you will receive will be “typed out” while others will be sent via Jott. This service allows us to dictate messages from
our cell phones. The service does its best to transcribe the voice message into an email that is automatically sent to Blogger. You will be able to tell the difference because the messages created via Jott say so at the bottom, plus there is a voice link.
It is extremely important that you listen to the voice links because Jott will likely make mistakes. For example, it may say “Dear Caren” instead of “Dear Parents.” One time it said I was taking the kids to “Jack Daniels” instead of “Johnny Rockets.” So, to avoid misunderstandings, etc., be certain to listen to the voice link.
Why use Jott?
I have found it helpful to be able to keep families posted of what happens right after it occurs. There are often details that are very difficult to remember an hour or two later. The service generally is pretty accurate. Click here to read a Jott example from our Summer 2008 group program.
Receive your emails all at once in a single “email digest.”
