Usually, we start off in the office, remaining there from 4:30pm until approximately 5:45pm. Then we head off to dinner. If we have planned a BBQ or a community outing, the procedure is a bit different. Also, on days when there is an in-office parent meeting, we typically meet until 7:00pm.

Summer
Program
For Kids
Meets MWF in July from 9:00am-2:00pm (drop off at 8:50am)
For Teens
Meets TuTh in July/early August from 10:00am-2:00pm (drop off at 9:50am)
With the kids, we typically start off in the office, discussing how the day will unfold. The kids may gather together to work on a project, or split up into smaller groups, where some kids play the Wii (video game) and others work on various aspects of a project (e.g., idea generation, script-writing, recording). In all cases, a paraprofessional counselor and/or Dr. Gale is present, facilitating and guiding their progress.

Around 10:30am, we take a break. This could involve a trip next door to Gelsons, picking up a snack, or making a snack in the office. If we have gone to the park, we eat our snack there.

After snack time, we return to the office or, if we have been in the office, we might head to the park.

Lunch time occurs around noon to 1:00pm and we go to a nearby restaurant or pick up an assortment of foods and eat outside at the office; sometimes we have a BBQ.

After lunch, we will usually return to working a project, play a group game or break into smaller groups, where each one is doing something different.
The schedule for the teens is similar to that described for kids. However, because they begin an hour later, there is no snack time. Instead, they go to lunch around 11:45am. The rest of the schedule description is high similar.
